In Dagestan, the minimum possible rates for business have been set, Gadzhi Sultanov, the Minister of Economic Development of the Republic of Dagestan said at a meeting of the northern zonal group. According to the top official, the local authorities need to conduct explanatory work with business, explaining the advantages of working "open" within the legal framework.

At the same time, Sultanov believes that last year the municipalities of the northern zone did not work hard enough to identify illegal businesses. As it was noted, a total of 11,603 objects were inspected last year, of which 4,643 objects were registered. As of 1 January 2024, 7 thousand 602 objects are registered in the northern zone of the republic.
