Dagestan authorities plan to allocate 409 million rubles for two projects in the garment industry and textiles, the regional Ministry of Industry and Trade reports. The projects are implemented by Pront LLC and Interios curtain factory.
According to the ministry, the implementation of two projects will create 70 new jobs in the region.

"As of the end of 2023, 165 million out of 409 million rubles have already been allocated" - the ministry official says.

In particular, the Pront LLC is building a garment factory in Akhvakh municipal district worth 209 million rubles. About 60 people will be employed at the factory. The project is scheduled for completion in early 2025. At the same time, the project initiator has been granted a land plot with a total area of 0.5 hectares without a bidding procedure.
