The Chairman of the Board of the Russian Union of Architects Uvais Kamalov has proposed to establish the title "Honored Architect of Dagestan" in the republic. Abdulmuslim Abdulmuslimov, the region’s prime minister, supported the idea and gave relevant instructions to Alexander Nesterov, the deputy minister of construction and housing.

Abdulmuslimov also suggested to organize a 'live conversation' with builders and architects on the platform of the regional government to discuss the architectural appearance of the regional cities and a concept for urban development.

The Prime Minister also invited both young architects and experienced specialists in the field to take part in the discussion. As to Abdulmuslimov, it is necessary to create a unique architectural style to be used both in rural settlements and cities of the republic and will have its own color, architecture and identity.
