According to the data of the Central Bank, as of February 2024, in Dagestan the volume of deposits of local residents decreased by RUB 11.4 billion - from 134.3 billion to 122.9 billion. This is the largest decrease in the volume of funds among all regions of the North Caucasian Federal District.

In Chechnya, for example, the volume of deposits fell by 8.1 billion RUB over the month. In North Ossetia-Alania the decrease made 3 billion RUB. In total, the volume of deposits in banks across the federal district fell by almost 30 billion RUB, or 3.9%.
