On March 30, Makhachkala Museum will host Polina Dmitrieva’s public lecture entiled "I'm going to an art residency". The artist-researcher will explain why artists should participate in residencies.

Polina Dmitrieva is an artist-researcher, curator, creative director and co-founder of the "Silno" residency in Derbent. She lectures on "object" art and the research method in artistic work as well as studies philosophy and socio-cultural design through the creation of educational institutions.

Dmitrieva participated in the development and implementation of the cultural program "Hamriyat of Derbent": Antiquity and Technologicity" as part of the All-Russian Festival "Night of Plants" in Derbent in 2023.

The lecture will be held as part of the Museum's project "Makhachkala: Instruction Manual", supported by the Potanin Foundation. Any creative person can take part in the event at the Museum of Makhachkala.
