Artificial reforestation in Nogai district forestry has recently been completed. In quarter 31 trees were planted on the area of 103 hectares. All rules of agrotechnical norms: distance between rows, between seedlings in a row and depth of planting were observed.

As to Vagab Abdulhamidov, the Chairman of the Forestry Committee of the Republic of Dagestan, the republic is one of the most sparsely forested regions of Russia. The forests cover only 7.2% of its territory, that is why the reforestation and artificial afforestation are extremely important for the republic.
