Kabardino-Balkaria, August 22, 2014. Daghestani Kizlyar’s native Danila Donskov climbed the legendary 5,000-er king's Mount Elbrus as a member of a climbers’ group from the North Caucasus Agro-Technology college (Ardon, North Ossetia) in company with members of the "Crocus" mountain-sports club guided by an experienced climber, college teacher Vladimir Korenkov, the college press service informed RIA "Daghestan".

The group started in Dzhilysu resort, Kabardino-Balkaria. It was a smooth, gradual climb specially designed for amateur mountain climbers: going to the Emanuel meadow, carrying loads up to 3,900 meters point, reaching the point, acclimatization, conquering 4,700 meters (the Lenz rock), and finally reaching the top of the mountain.

The 40 minutes of occupying "the throne of the gods", as the mount is nicknamed in the legends, allowed the climbers take lots pictures – each one against the background of the Russian and the region’s flag. They also set a flag of the international World Skills Russia (WSR) movement on the highest point of Europe. In total, it was a 8 day road to the dream peak and back. Each participant was awarded a special certificate. The North Caucasus Agro-Technology college intends to make the Elbrus conquer a traditional event attracting a larger number of students.
