Dagestan turned out to be an outsider in terms of salaries for residents of small settlements. The ranking of regions was compiled by the RIA Novosti news agency. According to the statistical data, Dagestan was ranked 79 out of 82 regions (the new territories were not included into the study).

As it turned out, the average salary of residents of small and medium-sized settlements in Dagestan is 31.1 thousand RUB. At the same time, the indicator has increased by 8.8% compared to 2022.

As in previous years, the leaders in terms of high average salaries in small and medium-sized settlements are the Northern and Far Eastern regions. The Chechen Republic took the last place - the salaries rural area residents amount to 26.7 thousand RUB.
