Gasan Osmanov, the Deputy Chairman of the Committee for Public Health, Labor and Social Policy of the regional Legislative Assembly met with a delegation from Harbin, People's Republic of China.

Chinese delegation includes neurologists and rehabilitation specialists from the Tadong Medical Center in Harbin, as well as the representatives of health care, tourism and business sectors. The delegation is led by Leo Lu, the director of the rehabilitation center and the head of a public organization dealing with socialization and integration of people with disabilities.

The visit of the Chinese representatives was unofficial, they came to establish interaction with the republic, as well as to discuss cooperation in various spheres, including tourism, culture, sports, health care, education and business. The meeting participants considered issues related to the social policy and rehabilitation of children with disabilities. The Chinese delegates showed interest in the methods used in rehabilitation and shared their traditional techniques such as acupuncture, acupressure and various types of massage.
