Following his visit to the Naryn-Kala fortress, the Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey Bilgic Tanju expressed his admiration for the oldest Russia’s city. He emphasized the importance of preserving local traditions and architecture in Derbent.

Besides, the top diplomat noted that strong ties in the tourism sector can be established between Russia and Turkey through Dagestan.
