Participants spoke about selecting and considering Vnesheconombank’s investment projects to be implemented in Daghestan. Daghestan government and the state-owned corporation "Bank for development and foreign economic affairs" had negotiated a cooperation agreement and established a working group for its implementation.
"Vnesheconombank’s efficiency helps our enterprises and organizations increase their marketability, they stimulate a large-scale investment influx into Daghestan economy," Gamidov said also noting that Vnesheconombank has helped Daghestan complete the "Kaspiysk float glass plant" investment project.
Minister of trade, investment and entrepreneurship Yussuf Umavov added, "Today, Daghestan can submit large investment projects to be considered by Vnesheconombank. They are the projects aimed at supporting the single-industry towns, and the project that can be implemented within a public-private partnership with participation of Vnesheconombank."
Director of Vnesheconombank’s office in Daghestan Arsan Demelkhanov said, "To date, 3 Daghestan investment projects are being worked out by Vnesheconombank: building a greenhouse complex in Kumtorkali region, building a cement plant producing 1.5 million tons per year, and "Nergiz Daghestan" JSC’s project on establishing a full cycle textile production in Tube village, Kumtorkali region."
