Makhachkala, October 16, 2014. Daghestan Entrepreneurship Development Center in Makhachkala regularly hosts "Start your business" workshops, a source in the center told RIA "Dagestan".
The workshops, supported by the ministry of industry, trade and investment, are part of the republican target program "Developing small and medium-sized businesses in Daghestan in 2014-2016".
It’s a 24-class curriculum for people from various Daghestan’s municipalities willing to start their own business and get a non-repayable state grant. The attendees will get information on starting their own businesses - the entrepreneurship basics.
The classes are divided into three days encompassing a series of lectures in 11 topics like legal framework for businesses, personnel and workflow management, registering legal documents on businessman’s property, basics of accounting and taxation, innovation for small and medium-sized enterprises, loans to small businesses, work planning, business plan development, using Internet technology in business, marketing in small businesses, the role of advertising and promotion in business, the role of education and training in business, and practices of social entrepreneurship.
The course completed, the attendees are to take a qualifying examination to be awarded a certificate giving the right to apply for a grant.
