Ramazan Abdulatipov meets with heads and Sergokalinsky and Akhvakhsky districts

Makhachkala, August 14, 2015. On August 12, the leader of Dagestan Ramazan Abdulatipov discussed the measures on socio-economic and cultural development of municipalities with the heads of Sergokalinsky and Akhvakhsky districts.

Ramazan Abdulatipov particularly appreciated the socio-economic situation in Sergokalinsky district, noting the merits of its governor Magomed Omarov. For its part, Magomed Omarov, informed the Head of the region that the municipality successfully executed the tasks set within the framework of the priority project "Shadow economy legalization", including the tax collection indices.

As to the deputy Prime Minister RD Rayudin Yusufov, the district occupies one of the first places in the foothills of the republic by indicators of effectiveness of the local administration; the district is also in the top ten for socio-economic development. "In 2013 the volume of tax payments made 114%, in 2014 it totaled 104%, for the six months of 2015 it reached the level of 115%. These are very good numbers. Almost all taxes have been collected in the district" - Rayudin Yusufov stated.

Speaking about the most significant achievements of the reporting period, Magomed Omarov mentioned the commissioning of new social facilities, infrastructure improvements, growth in the number of public services rendered to the population through the Multifunctional Centers, etc. However, he raised some problems related to the lack of irrigation water, its negative impact on the small businesses in the agricultural sector and the problems with the repair of electricity supply network.  

The head of the republic, in turn, pointed the need for more active commissioning of new production facilities, especially in the field of agriculture. "For us, the main indicator is the effectiveness of measures taken, the use of sources, the effectiveness of the work of development institutions. In this direction, we should build our work prospects” - Ramazan Abdulatipov said concluding the meeting.
