As noted earlier, Derbent Solar Power Plant with a capacity of more than 100 MW will be put into operation in 2023. Its construction is carried out by the GC «Solar Systems». The project cost totals 6.2 billion rubles.

The power generated by the station will be enough to supply at least 40-50 thousand households and social facilities. The facility may employ 30 local residents.

Recall in 2022 the South-Sukhokum solar power plant was launched. The volume of private investment amounted to approx. 1.5 billion rubles. The investor and general contractor of the projects are the subsidiaries of GK «Hevel».
