New tourist routes have appeared in Dagestan, so their total number has increased by 30% over the past two years. The republic has also increased the number of hotels, hostels, recreation centers and other accommodation facilities by 23%. As to the regional government official, 27 hotels and hostels successfully passed classification. In general, in Dagestan, there number increased in 1.5 times (up to 81): whereas previously 54 facilities were open for the tourists.
