Shakhabas Shakhov and Sergey Kravtsov meet with local education authorities

Makhachkala, May 20, 2014. On May 16, Daghestan minister of education, science and youth policy Shakhabas Shakhov and a delegation from the Federal Education and Science Control Board headed by Sergey Kravtsov met with the heads of education departments from Daghestan cities and regions, a source in the ministry told RIA "Daghestan".

S. Kravtsov said about his conversation with Daghestani Head and municipal heads. He noted that the situation with the Unified State Examination has over the years led to the meeting attended only by 66 heads of USE points who have problems with preparing for the exam in 2014, and the points will be under federal government’s scrutiny.

"The teacher is a carrier of culture. What kind of culture are we talking about basing on the USE results over the past few years?" - Kravtsov emphasized.

Speaking to heads of USE points, Shakhov and Kravtsov pointed put the responsibility they bear.
Kravtsov urged to ensure the objectively of the USE in 2014. "If the exam is biased, it’s a road to nowhere. We do not grade USE results, but and the objectivity of holding it," - said S. Kravtsov and once again reminded everyone that Daghestan as well as Karachay-Cherkessia and Moscow is under scrutiny of the Russian public.
