Dagestani karateka wins All-Russian championship

Makhachkala, May 10, 2016. Dagestani sportsman Khalil Ibnukhazharov won the gold medal at the Russian karate championship, held in Orel on May 7 - 8, the athlete's coach Magomed Shirvanov says.  

"Khalil became a gold medalist in the weight category up to 90 kg. He had three victorious duels and complied with the standards of the master of sports of Russia on karate", - the coach noted.
As to Shirvanov, two other Dagestani sportsmen - Magomed Shakhbanov (up to 60 kg) and Nazhmutdin Khizriev (up to 72 kg) participated in the Russian championship losing in the preliminary fights.
Noteworthy, over one thousand athletes from 49 regions of Russia attended the all-Russian competition in Orel.

Besides, at the All-Russian karate championship Magomed Shirvanov was awarded with the qualification of judge of the All-Russian category.
