Ruslan Gadzhiev has become a stage winner of the Russian Cup in rapid chess held in Moscow. The competitions were held in the Russian capital as part of the Aeroflot Open 2024 Tournament. The student of Anatoly Karpov's chess school in Makhachkala achieved the best result among boys under 13. In total, over 300 participants took part in the chess event. At the same tournament, another Dagestani chess player, Taimaz Temirbekov, won bronze among boys under 15.
