Makhachkala, November 5, 2015. A postgraduate student of Dagestan State University has been elected as representatives of the Russian Students’ Union across Dagestan, the press service of the university reports.
The decision was taken at the Congress of the All-Russian youth organization "Russian Union of Students’ Organizations", held at the International Youth Festival "Gaudeamus" on October 29-30 in Moscow State University named after M.Lomonosov. The representatives of 26 regions including the delegation of Dagestan State University attended the congress.
The regular session of the Congress was dedicated to the 25th anniversary of Students’ Union of Moscow State University. The event was held in partnership with the Coordination Council on Youth Affairs in the scientific and educational spheres at the Presidential Council of the Russian Federation for Science and Education and the All-Russian Club of Young Researchers.
The Chairman of the Presidium of RFSE listened to all reports of the participants and gave valuable instructions. Besides, the Congress participants discussed plans for scientific and social activities for the next year, delivered progress reports, specified the ways of cooperation between universities and the organization on joint activities over the development programs for the students’ associations at universities.
They also demonstrated the best projects for the involvement of young people in research and design activities. On the second day of the Congress, a presidium of the RFSE was elected. The post-graduate student of chemical faculty and the chairperson of the Coordination Council of DSU Saida Rasulova has been elected as an official representative of the organization in the Republic of Dagestan.
The next session of the Congress is supposed to be held in the walls of the innovation center "Skolkovo", where a School for leaders of students’ unions, in particular, students’ scientific societies and design offices will be established.
