Dagestan minister of press and information Aznaur Adzhiev wins in the "Public open minister" nomination

Makhachkala, December 5, 2014. Aznaur Adzhiev, Dagestani minister of press and information has been awarded with a diploma in the special nomination "Public open minister", of the Caucasian Internet Prize "Prometheus - 2014". The executive director of the North Caucasian Media Association  Razhap Musayev noted that Aznaur Adzhiev always displays readiness for dialogue and actively supports mass media projects. R. Musayev also added that the first blog tour "Wonders of the Caucasus" was held exactly in Dagestan, and Dagestan minister of press and information much assisted in its organization since the early days.

Dagestani ministry of press and information took an active part in the second Media Forum of the North Caucasus in Pyatigorsk. On December 4, a round table discussion on “Derbent - 2000: informational opportunities on the doorstep of the anniversary” took place within the forum. The event was attended by the mayor of Derbent Imam Yaraliev and First Deputy minister of press and information Zubairu Zubairuev. Igor Potocki, the director general of the television "STP Continent", journalist moderated the round table.

There has been allocated a platform for Dagestan where guests and participants of the forum could not only acquaint with the print, television and online media of Dagestan, watch films about the oldest city in Russia – Derbent but also learn about the project "Derbent - 2000" devoted to the anniversary of the city.

It should be noted that Dagestan presented 20 ethnic newspapers, three magazines, books written in languages of the peoples of the North Caucasus, two television channels within the forum.
