Anatoly Wasserman to conduct Brain Ring dedicated to 2000-year anniversary of Derbent

Makhachkala, September 14, 2015. The well-known TV presenter, journalist and the multiple winner of TV intellectual games, Anatoly Wasserman has arrived in Derbent to participate in the game "Brain Ring - Caspian Breeze". The intellectual quiz dedicated to 2000-year anniversary of Derbent will be held in September 19.

Eight teams consisting mainly of university students will compete for the title of the strongest on the coast of the Caspian Sea. A separate team will represent Derbent.

This time Anatoly Wasserman will not be directly involved in the intellectual competition, and will act as the jury chairman and the guest of honor. By tradition, the content of Brain Ring will cover a variety of areas but the theme of the 2000th anniversary of Derbent dominates in the questions.

The venue will give a special entourage to the game. The tables for the participants will be placed in the open air, in the citadel "Naryn-Kala", included in the UNESCO World Heritage List.

The Brain Ring is the television intellectual game, first broadcasted on May 18, 1990.
