Ramazan Abdulatipov meets with members of Union of National Creative Teams

Makhachkala, august 12, 2016. Today, August 12, the government administration Office hosted a meeting between Ramazan Abdulatipov and the participants of the V Congress of members of the National Union of Professional Creative Teams.

Dagestan Minister of Culture Zarema Butaeva, the acting director of the state budgetary organization “The Honored Academic Dance Ensemble of Dagestan “Lezginka”, the President of the National (People's) Union of professional creative teams Dzhambulat Magomedov and others attended the event.

The creative teams have been represented by the director of the state “Kuban Cossack Choir", the member of the Presidential Council for Culture and Arts, professor, composer Anatoly Arefiev, the director of the State Academic Russian Orchestra named after V. Andreev Natalia Mitina, the director of the state "Urals Centre of Folk Art" Dmitry Kokorin, the artistic director of the State Dance and Song ensemble "Altam" (Altai Territory), the Honored Artist of Russia Ayana Shinzhina and the assistant to director of the Federal Agency for Nationalities Oleg Seregin.

Opening the meeting, Ramazan Abdulatipov noted that Dagestan had always been famous for its culture, art and traditions, and therefore it was deeply symbolic that the V Congress was held in the republic.

"The celebration of the 2000th anniversary of the city of Derbent in the republic, in Moscow and Paris demonstrated Dagestan as one of the world's most important, local center of culture and spirituality, displayed our civilizational foundations with a centuries old history" - Abdulatipov said.

According to Abdulatipov, despite the fact that the Union is a young community, it united the oldest leading creative teams of the country for the development of culture and art in the Russian regions.

Within the framework of the meeting, the Head of Dagestan also proposed to hold the national festival of creative collectives in Dagestan.
"We can take over the organization of the festival. I am sure that the holding of such an event in the citadel "Naryn-Kala" will once again demonstrate the uniqueness of the city of Derbent"- Abdullatipov noted.

Recall, the Union of national (folk) professional creative teams, one of the country’s youngest professional communities, had been established in 2013 with a view to implement the "May decrees" of the Russian President Vladimir Putin. Today, it includes most of the leading national professional groups from many regions of Russia.

Noteworthy, the V Congress of the Union of national teams has kicked off in Makhachkala. It is attended by the heads of 30 folk groups from Kabardino-Balkaria, Adygeya, Chechnya, Karachay-Cherkessia, Chuvash Republic, Vologda region, Tatarstan, Bashkortostan, Vladimir region, Krasnoyarsk and Mordovia.
