Ramazan Abdulatipov meets with Denis Manturov

Makhachkala, July 24, 2015. On July 23, Dagestan Head Ramazan Abdulatipov, being on a working visit to Moscow, met with the Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation Denis Manturov.

The parties discussed the measures aimed at support and development of industrial potential of the region, as well as the prospects of construction of a textile factory sponsored by Turkish investors on the territory of Dagestan.

Denis Manturov noted that to date the Russian Ministry of Industry render assistance to a number of new manufactures as well as the operating ones. The Law on Industrial Policy contains these measures: special investment agreement, exemption from certain taxes for specified time, preferential conditions for land acquisition for the construction of industrial facilities, etc.

As to Manturov, Dagestan, as well as other regions of Russia can fully take advantage of these measures. "For present, all these possibilities are developed in order to create a stable investment climate" - the Minister stated.

Having discussed the project of textile factory construction in Dagestan, Denis Manturov gave instructions related to the study of state support funding mechanisms, noting that the factory had to be equipped with the most modern equipment.

These instructions, as well as several other aspects of the project in the long term should be pointed out in the "road map" approved by the Russian Ministry, Dagestan Government and the investor.
