The number of unauthorized retail outlets in the republic has significantly decreased - by more than 70% since 2015, the regional Ministry of Industry and Trade reports. A special interdepartmental working group has been set up in the region to curb unauthorized trade.

Raids have been carried out, more than 18,000 trading places have been inspected and about 7,000 registered business entities have been counted. At the same time, from September 2023 to February 2024, 980 entrepreneurs were registered for tax purposes.

The Ministry of Industry and Trade, together with the Interior Ministry and the local authorities continue extensive work in this direction.
