Comprehensive Logistics Center opens in Dagestan

Makhachkala, February 11, 2015. On February 10, Dagestan Head Ramazan Abdulatipov met with the initiators of priority investment project "Construction of comprehensive logistics center" LLC "Agrico North Caucasus" - the top managers of "Agrico" headed by the chairman of the Board of Directors Gennady Bogomolov and CEO of "Nafta-Moscow" Oleg Lipatov.

Firstly, Ramazan Abdulatipov noted the importance of the project for the development of agricultural sector in Dagestan, especially in connection with the current economic and social conditions in the republic.

"I have always believed that men should commit acts. If they do nothing, life will go in vain. In this difficult situation in the country, you came to Dagestan. I know that you are going to do important work in the current difficult conditions. One fails if loses courage and stops working. And if we continue working, the crisis never comes "- Ramazan Abdulatipov expressed confidence, pointing out that Dagestan possesses an ability to take many niches in the Russian food market within the import substitution programme. This opportunity should be used for the development of the agrarian sector in Dagestan.

For his part, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of "Agrico" LLC  Gennady Bogomolov assured Dagestan Head that the construction of an integrated logistics center would solve the problem of storage and processing of agricultural products. Moreover, within the project,"Agrico SK" LLC will become a leading manufacturer of rice, a leading provider of integrated logistics services in the produce and meat sector, and create about 1,600 jobsites in Dagestan.

The project is implemented in the territory of Karabudakhkentskiy district and the city of Kizlyar. By the resolution of Dagestan Government, this project obtains a status of priority investment project RD.
