“We are the Russian people. Dagestan is multiethnic republic” documentary media project presented in Makhachkala

Makhachkala, July 15, 2015. On July 14, the presentation of the first interactive multimedia and art-documentary project entitled "We are the Russian people. Dagestan is multiethnic republic" initiated by the Head of the republic of Dagestan Ramazan Abdulatipov took place in the large hall of Dagestan State Russian Gorki Drama Theater in Makhachkala.

The ceremony was attended by Dagestan Head Ramazan Abdulatipov, the Prime Minister RD Abdusamad Gamidov, the 1st deputy Prime Minister Anatoly Karibov, the heads of the republican ministries and departments, the representatives of public organizations, figures of culture and art.

Speaking at the meeting, Ramazan Abdulatipov noted that Dagestanis needed to be introduced to the world like talented and well-deserved people, who did not accept ideas of extremism and terrorism.

"We need to revive Dagestan that we inherited from our fathers and grandfathers. We have managed to ensure the safety of Dagestan and Dagestanis since 2013. The positive development dynamics were registered in the republic of Dagestan. In particular, in terms of economic development, we have become the leader in the Russian market by the indices of industrial development.

Besides, we have taken the 4th place among all regions of the Russian Federation in terms of tax collection entering the top ten highly effective Russian regions. These progresses testify that the republic supports the reforms initiated by the President RF Vladimir Putin "- Dagestan Head pointed out.

Ramazan Abdulatipov thanked the staff of scientists, producers, photographers, editors and many other creative people who created the four-volume project, which has no analogues in Russia. Besides, he highlighted the work of the Government of Dagestan, in particular, the head of the working group - the 1st deputy Dagestan Prime Minister Anatoly Karibov, as well as the work of a number of republican ministries and departments.
