Artist Nikas Safronov gives master class in Makhachkala

Makhachkala, September 5, 2016. The day before, on September 3, the Honored Artist of Russia Nikas Safronov held a series of creative meetings and master classes for students of Dagestan Jemal Art College in the small hall of the Russian State Drama and Music Theatre in Makhachkala, the press service of the Ministry of Culture RD informs.

According to the source, Safronov evaluated the works of the College students exhibited on the stage. Safronov took interest in the paintings, commenting in details and noting the advantages or disadvantages of each work. The artistic critics appreciated the exhibits too, displaying     particular interest and warm attitude to the graphic works.

After discussion, Safronov briefed about his creative career. The students and teachers had an opportunity to ask questions and receive irrefragable answers. In particular, Safronov told about the things that inspire him most and the styles of painting he prefers. The master class attendees also watch a documentary on Safronov’s works created in different time.

The director of Dagestan Museum of Fine Arts Salikhat Gamzatova thanked the artist for the meeting and presented a gift to Safronov.
