Nikas Safronov’s works on display in Makhachkala

Makhachkala, August 30, 2016. The Honored Artist of Russia, the academician of the Russian Academy of Arts Nikas Safronov will exhibit his paintings for the first time in Makhachkala. The exhibition in Dagestan Museum of Fine Arts kicking off September 2, will display more than 150 selected works by Safronov in different genres. These are classic portrait, landscape, narrative compositions in the style of symbolism, as well as the paintings by the author’s DreamVision style.

The main goal of the exhibition in Makhachkala is to introduce different periods of Nikas Safronov’s creativity to Dagestan viewers. Nikas Safronov is one of the greatest contemporary artists of the world and equally successfully works in many genres.

Most of the artist's works are kept in the leading museums around the world and in the private collections of various countries. Among Nikas Safronof’s funs are Sophia Loren, Alain Delon, Jean-Paul Belmondo, Diana Ross, Montserrat Caballé, Madonna, Jack Nicholson, Placido Domingo.

Before the opening of the exhibition, Dagestani journalists will be able to ask questions to the famous artist. The press conference will take place in the National Library of Dagestan. Besides, visitors can purchase authentic souvenirs with the works of Nikas Safronov at the exhibition.
