The action was timed to the Year of Ecology, announced in Russia, the press service of the company reports. Saplings of sycamores as well as the ornamental shrubs have been for free delivered straight to the airport by the Municipal Unitary Enterprise "Gorzelenhoz".

"The sycamores are beautiful and strong trees that will beautify the territory of the airport. At each tree we have installed nameplates with the data of the person who planted it" Arsen Pirmagomedov, the director general of Makhachkala Airport JSC said.

It should be noted that Makhachkala airport is the oldest and single airline enterprise in Dagestan.
