The residents of Dagestan increased savings and deposits in banks by 14% in the first month of 2024, the Central Bank of Russia reports on its website. Thus, the residents of Ingushetia +36.42% and Chechnya +29.49% turn out to be in the leaders in growth of bank savings in the North Caucasian Federal District.

In Dagestan, the volume of deposits grew by 14% - from 117.7 billion RUB to 134.3 billion RUB. At the same time, the residents of the Republic of Dagestan ranked 49th in the all-Russia rating, ahead of the depositors in Moscow region.
