A new dangerous quarantine object - pepino mosaic virus - has been detected in Dagestan. It is one of the most dangerous tomato diseases. The virus was detected on farms in Buynaksky municipal district, Rosselkhoznadzor (Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance) reports. A quarantine has been imposed on the farms. Greenhouse owners have received recommendations to eliminate the quarantine object.
