Magomed-Tagir Gimbatov participates in VI International Investment Forum "Industrial projects of Russia - 2015"

Makhachkala, July 6, 2015. On July 2, the deputy Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment of the republic of Dagestan Magomed-Tagir Gimbatov took part in the VI International Investment Forum "Industrial projects of Russia - 2015".

According Gimbatov, the republican authorities have been working to bring the legislation into conformity with the recommendations of the Ministry of Trade and Industry RF and the Russian Association of Industrial Parks. "Besides, the concept of development of industrial parks and the state program RD "The development of industry in the Republic of Dagestan for 2015-2020 years" provides for the establishment of 17 industrial parks up to 2020," - the deputy minister said.

In turn, the executive director of the "Association of Industrial Parks of Russia», the GR-director of "Syngenta" Co. Denis Zhuravsky noted the significant successes of the republic on the creation of industrial parks in 2015 (in the first half of 2015 there has been created two industrial parks) and the prospects for the development of small parks in the Republic of Dagestan.

Noteworthy, the Forum is supported by the Ministry of Economic Development and the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation. The event is organized by the Association of Industrial Parks, uniting more than 100 entities, representing 65 industrial parks on the territory of 45 subjects of the Russian Federation.

The Forum gathered more than 800 participants from 56 Russian regions from 20 countries. The plenary sessions participants held discussions on the global strategy of industrial parks and the basis for the international cooperation in the field of industrial parks. At the special session, participants discussed the attraction of new sources of investments into the establishment of industrial parks, the comparative features of development of large industrial areas and small municipal industrial parks, as well as the prospects for development of the Russian agro-industrial parks.
