Dagestan delegation attends International Defense Exhibition “ADEX-2016”

Makhachkala, September 29, 2016. The director general of the OJSC Dagdizel plant Raul Ilyasov and a specialist of Dagestan Ministry of Industry and Trade Zarema Kalbulaeva participate in the II Azerbaijan International Defense Exhibition "ADEX-2016", held on September 27 to 30 in Baku.

It should be noted that the Ministry of Defense Industry with the support of the Ministry of Defense of the Azerbaijan Republic had become the initiator of the exhibition.

Over 150 companies attended the event. The national pavilions of Russia, Israel, China, Pakistan, Turkey and France have been introduced.
Russia's national pavilion is organized under the aegis of the Russia’s Defense Exports. The enterprises of the Russian defense industry such as concern "Tehmash", "Vympel", "Splav", "Russian Helicopters", "Precision Systems", "Schwabe" and Dagestan plant called Dagdizel demonstrated its products at the exhibition.

Recall, the Dagdizel plant is a large machine-building enterprise of the republic. It is the only plant in Russia focused on the underwater weapons - for universal torpedoes, including aviation, combat torpedo parts of the anti-missile and mine complexes.

According to the spokesperson, the main goals of the event are to strengthen the military-technical cooperation and to develop business contacts between producers and customers of military equipment from around the world.

The exhibition will provide an opportunity to introduce to the professional community the latest and unique development of the defense industry, to share their experiences. Furthermore, ADEX is a unique dialogue platform for representatives of the defense ministries from the different countries, inventors and experts ", - the spokesperson concluded.
