MAKHACHKALA, July 27 – RIA "Dagestan". Ilyas Daudi, a master's student at S. A. Gerasimov VGIK, won the best music video award at Sweden's Lulea International Film Festival with his "THE PALADIN" project. The video featured Honored Youth Mentor of Dagestan and Order of the Red Star holder Sadik Idrisov, along with performers from the Republican Ensemble "Dagestan".
Shooting locations included the Sulak Canyon, the National Museum, the Military Glory Museum of Dagestan and various streets in Makhachkala. Produced in May 2026 at the VGIK Educational Studio, the work was dedicated to the Year of the Unity of the Peoples of Russia and was supervised and produced by the university's rector, Vladimir Malyshev.
