MOSCOW, March 14 – РИА Dagestan. Mikhail Murashko, Public Health Minister of the Russian Federation, held a meeting with female activists involved in healthcare initiatives. Fatima Tamaeva, Head of Dagestan Association of Mammologists-Radiologists was among ten participants from across the country.
The meeting focused on preventive healthcare topics. During the session, Minister Murashko referenced the role of women in health awareness initiatives and professional development in the healthcare sector.
Fatima Tamaeva presented a project implemented in Dagestan that utilizes artificial intelligence algorithms to support mammographic examination processes. According to the presentation, the initiative aims to enhance diagnostic procedures for breast cancer screening. The project was noted as having potential for application in other regions.
Tamaeva also provided information about events organized by the Association in the republic, including mammology forums and congresses focused on cancer prevention awareness among the public and medical professionals.
Tamaeva previously received recognition in the IV All-Russian Competition "Women for a Healthy Society" and was listed as a finalist at St. Petersburg International Economic Forum in June 2025.
