MAKHACHKALA, March 13 – RIA Dagestan. The launch of the "Lazurny Bereg" (Azure Coast) comprehensive development territory (CDT) project in Makhachkala is scheduled to begin by the end of 2026, Bakhtiyar Ullaev, Minister of Construction, Architecture, and Housing and Communal Services of Dagestan says.
The project will develop a 231-hectare area with residential construction and simultaneous creation of social and engineering infrastructure. The total floor area of residential and non-residential premises is projected to exceed 2 million square meters.
With an estimated investment volume of over RUB 177 billion, the project is expected to be fully completed by 2030 and create approximately 11,000 jobs. Tender procedures for selecting the CDT implementation operator are currently underway, with project proposals developed in coordination with the Russian Ministry of Construction, Rosimushchestvo (Federal Agency for State Property Management), the Federal Road Agency and DOM.RF.
