The multifunctional sports center named after Hero of Russia Nurmagomed Gajimagomedov has opened today on the territory of Anji-Arena in Kaspiysk. The opening ceremony was attended by the Head of the republic Sergei Melikov, the father of the Hero of Russia Engels Gajimagomedov, the minister of sport of the Republic of Dagestan Sajid Sajidov and the guests of honor.
The sports center consists of several major facilities for different martial arts. It has six wrestling mats. The total area of the complex is more than 1,000 square meters. There is a parquet flooring in the hall, which allows using the ground as a mini-football field.
According to Magomed Bagautdinov, the director general of the center, there are basketball boards too. The plans to create a volleyball hall is being considered by the center managers.
The complex occupies 24 hectares of land. There is a 4-star hotel complex, catering points, fitness halls, the biggest in the North Caucasus 50-meter swimming pool, steam rooms, hammam and a gymnastics hall.
