Shamil Abdulkhalikov wins PROFC title

Rostov-on-Don, September 11, 2014. Daghestani fighter Shamil Abdulkhalikov won the title of the international tournament PROFC 54: Challenge of Champions taking place September 7 in Rostov-on-Don, President of the NCFD Grappling Federation Murad Abdullaev told RIA "Dagestan".

The tournament brought together athletes from Russia, Ukraine, Georgia, Belarus, Brazil, France and the United States to perform 11 fights in six weights. In the 84 kg weight final, Abdulkhalikov opposed Ukrainian Renat Liatifov. The timer displaying 00:40 of the first round, Abdulkhalikov knocked the opponent out to finally get the prestigious title.
