Rashid Magomedov to hold his fifth UFC fight soon

Makhachkala, August 5, 2016. On November 5, Dagestani MMA fighter in the lightweight division Rashid Magomedov will have his fifth bout in the UFC Fight Night 98 tournament in Mexico City, the company’s official website says. American Benil Dariusz will become Magomedov’s rival.

The former champion M-1 Challenge in welterweight Rashid Magomedov debuted in the UFC in February 2014 and in that time managed to fill up his record with four wins. In the last fight, which took place in Brazil in November last year at UFC Fight Night 77, Magomedov gained a victory over Gilbert Burns by the unanimous decision.

For Burns, it was his first defeat in the sport career. The next Rashid Magomedov’s opponent should be Chris Wade, but six weeks before the UFC Fight Night 87 tournament Dagestani was injured and was eliminated from the tournament participants.

In 2016 Benil Dariusz had two battles, losing to Michael Kese and knocking James Vick. Before the loss Dariusz won five fights in a row, two of which were completed by strangulation.

Today, Benil Dariusz and Rashid Magomedov occupy the eleventh and fifteenth lines in the UFC lightweight rankings respectively.
