Makhachkala, April 10, 2014. Daghestani wrestlers will participate in the traditional international tournament for the prizes of Samurgashev brothers. The sport event is held in Rostov- on-Don on April 11 - 12, the senior coach of Daghestan Greco- Roman wrestling team Ali Ismailov says.
This is the first official international youth tournament in Greco-Roman wrestling in Russia. The competition serves as the qualifier for European Championship in Bulgaria and the Youth Olympic Games in China.
The tournament is held for the 14th time. Since 2001 it has been included into the International Federation of the combined styles of fighting (FILA).
