Dagestani fencer gains victory at International Fencing Tournament in Germany

Makhachkala, November 15, 2016. A native of Dagestan Ayzanat Murtazayeva became a winner of the International Fencing Tournament, held in Heidenheim on November 13.

Acting for the first Russian team, Dagestani sportswoman helped her team on the way to the finals to defeat the second team of Poland - 45:22, Hungary - 45:35 and the first Polish team - 41:40. In the semi-final, the Russian team conceded with the score of 29:32, but Ayzanat Murtazayeva managed to gain a victory over Barbara Brych, with the score of 12: 8.

In the finals, the first and second Russian team brought together. After four fights, the first team became the best with the score of 45:32.
It should be noted that a 15-year-old Ayzanat Murtazayeva won the All-Russian tournament "Youth of Moscow" to the memory of a two time Olympic champion Mikhail Burtsev.
