The Russian championship in French boxing, or "savat" as it is called, has ended in St Petersburg. The republican combined team won six medals. Three of them are the gold ones. Shamil Ibragimov, Gamid Magomedov and Patimat Magomedova became champions. Silver medals were awarded to Dinislam Datuev and Ruslan Ibragimov. Dagestan team was led by Abdulmazhid Amirbekov, president of the regional Savat Federation, Ibragim Mitishev, the head coach of the region’s team, and Murad Gapurov, a referee.
