Dagestan para taekwondo practitioners win European Championship

Makhachkala, September 19, 2016. The representatives of Dagestan para taekwondo practitioners as part of the Russian national team won 4 medals of different values in the European Championship, held September 15 - 17 in Warsaw, the head of the Republican Para Taekwondo Federation Ruslan Biyarslanov says.

"The sportsmen won two gold, one silver and one bronze medal, which allowed the Russian team to finish in the first place in the team event. Once again, the athletes the title of the strongest in taekwondo"- Biyarslanov noted.

The European champions in their weight categories are Magomedzagir Isaldibirov (75 kg, coach Imam Umahanov) and Seville Abdulova (58 kg, coach Kamal Biyarslanov). Zaynutdin Atayev (75 kg, Tagir Magomedov coach) is the silver medalist. Maryam Salimgereeva (58 kg, coach Arslan Biyarslanov) won the bronze medal for the team.
