The Russian Geographical Society invites young people to go on an unforgettable journey with a team of like-minded people as part of the "Zapovedny Dagestan" project. Participants of the complex expedition will visit Dagestan State Nature Reserve in June 2024. The deadline for applications is May 20.

Young specialists aged 18-35 - scientists, journalists, photographers, videographers, designers, artists, tour guides and the representatives of related activities - can become participants of the project. The main goal of the expedition is media volunteering.

The "Zapovedny Dagestan" project will test professional skills in creating thematic content for specially protected natural areas and popularizing nature conservation activities. This is a good opportunity to contribute to environmental education and development of interregional cooperation, as well as to get familiarized with the local sights, folk traditions and nature of Russia’s unique region.

The educational and public relations part of the project includes meetings with the staff of Dagestan reserve, the representatives of the Russian Geographical Society, leading lecturers of the Russian Society "Znanie", the winners of all-Russian photography competitions and other experts. The young specialists will also help to develop a comprehensive program of international internships.
