The representatives of the Coordination Centre of Dagestan State University, Dagestan branch of the Russian Society "Znanie" and students of DSU took part in the All-Russia teleconference organized by the Society "Znanie" "Russian Crimea: Ten years later" in Krasnoyarsk.

Recall on March 12 - 22 the regions of the Russian Federation host forums dedicated to the 10th anniversary of reunification of Crimea and Sevastopol with Russia.

"The idea of holding the teleconference arose spontaneously after the appeal of colleagues from the academic community to tell about the Crimean Spring and the achievements of Crimea for ten years. The teleconference gathered students, the representatives of universities and educators. We discussed the results of the peninsula's development, the historical path of the Crimeans and answered the questions of students from other regions of the Russian Federation interested in aspects of youth policy, conditions of education and employment in Crimea", - the Vice-Rector for pedagogical and methodological activities of Vernadsky Crimean Federal University, the Director of Crimean branch of the "Znanie" Society Natalia Karmazina said.

Initially, the representatives of universities from 27 regions of Russia displayed interest to the teleconference between Krasnoyarsk and Crimea, but in fact educational institutions from 40 regions took part in the event.

Until 22 March, more than 100 events will take place in Russia: lectures, quizzes, thematic film screenings, open dialogues with experts and interregional teleconferences. The young people will learn about the background and history of Crimea's reunification with Russia, the heroes of the Crimean Spring, the achievements of recent years in the industrial, tourism and social spheres, as well as about the people of Crimea and Sevastopol and their role in the historical events of the last ten years.
