Makhachkala, October 6, 2019. The filming of the All-Caucasus ethno-tourist reality show "Discover the Caucasus" with active participation of 7 young bloggers from all over Russia has started yesterday in Dagestan. The organizer is the non-government "Foundation for the Promotion of the Northern Caucasus" with the support of the Office of Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation President in the North Caucasian Federal District, the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs, the Youth Policy Ministry of the Republic of Dagestan and the administration of the city of Derbent.

According to the executive producer of the show Magomed Abdulaev, the “Discover the Caucasus” is an All-Russian ethno-tourist youth reality show that has no analogues in the country. “Our goal is to popularize the ethnocultural heritage of the peoples of the North Caucasus and the tourism potential of the ancient city of Russia - Derbent among the youth of Russia and the general public. Filming of the reality show takes place in the format of an expedition trip of participants to the city of Derbent. They are waiting for tasks with elements of an adventure quest, as a result of which the participants will find the main cache with an old legend” - Abdulaev said.

The first shooting process took place in the Makhachkala airport and in the ethnic hostel of the city of Derbent. The project director is Kamil Aliyev, the winner of the All-Russian and International film festivals. The project production team is headed by the director general of DL PRODUCTION studio Buinamidin Kurbanov. The filming of the TV project will last till October 11. Noteworthy, according to the results of the reality show "Discover the Caucasus" it is planned to release and broadcast a TV documentary.
