Makhachkala, July 2, 2018. Within the framework of exercises of federal power engineers in Dagestan, a large-scale reconstruction of electric grid is scheduled in six municipal districts of the republic: Karabudakhkentsky, Sergokalinsky, Buinaksky districts, Makhachkala and its suburbs, as well as in the city of Buinaksk.

As to the press service of the regional grid company, during the exercises more than 7,5 thousand defective energy towers will be replaced. It is also planned to replace over 600 km of "bare" uninsulated wire with the 0.4 kV self-supporting insulated wire, to install approx. 18 thousand meters of electricity metering devices, 1,5 thousand devices for data collection and transmission and to repair 242 transformer substations. For these purposes, in total 1 billion 300 million rubles will be allocated.

Recall the exercises are conducted at the request of the interim Head of Dagestan Vladimir Vasilyev, for which more than 2 thousand electricians will arrive in the republic on July 20.
