Results of Dagestan first architectural workshop to be presented in PERI Innovations

Makhachkala, February 2016. The presentation of results of the first in the history of Dagestan architectural workshop "Space education of the future" will be held today, February 10, in the business incubator "PERI Innovation". The main purpose of the event is to create the concept of the educational and cultural center "Perimeter" in Makhachkala.

The unique workshop "Space Education of the Future", attended by 30 young architects from around the world, was held in the business incubator "PERI Innovation" on February 1 - 10. The workshop was initiated by the Ziyavudin Magomedov’s found "PERI" and supported by the center for architectural initiatives MARCH Lab.

Under the guidance of the international team of experienced facilitators, the workshop participants have developed several original architectural concepts of educational and cultural center "Perimeter". Within 10 days, the participants developed eight variants of the educational center, which will be presented and discussed later.

The building of educational and cultural center "Perimeter" will be located near the central square of Makhachkala. The best world experience of creating such objects will be used in its construction.
 
The center for talented youth is the joint project of "PERI" and Moscow Center for pedagogical skills led by Ivan Yaschenko will also be located here.  It is expected that the "Perimeter" will start work in 2017. The participation in the educational programs in the center will be free for everyone. The organizers hope that this center will become one of the new symbols of Makhachkala in the future.
