Makhachkala, April 19, 2018. The research development of Dagestan State Technical University won a gold medal at the International Exhibition of Intellectual Property, Inventions, Innovations and Technologies IPITEX - 2018 in Bangkok, the press service of the university informs.

The exhibition was organized with a view to demonstrate the samples of the latest technologies, to establish and develop mutually beneficial contacts among the Russian scientific organizations, industrial enterprises, innovative companies and firms, as well as to develop the trade and economic cooperation, promoting Russian science-intensive products and high technologies to the world market.

The development "Antenna in the form of a corner microwave reflector with p-i-n diodes for the transmission of discrete information" presented by DSTU was awarded with a gold medal and the Winner's Diploma. Noteworthy, the invention is a construction of passive antennas of the microwave range designed to reflect the electromagnetic oscillations over a wide frequency range.
