Dagestan to implement new methods of high-precision diagnosis of blood cancer

Makhachkala, February 18, 2020. The residents of Dagestan will be able to pass high-tech tests to detect malignant neoplasms of blood within the framework of state guarantees at the expense of compulsory medical insurance fund. As reported on the website of the Public Health Ministry of the Republic, the federal ministry conducted a conference call on the implementation of the federal project "Combating Oncological Diseases" under the national project "Health Care".

The representatives of the republican government, the participants in the meeting, noted that free medical diagnostics with the latest methods of malignant blood neoplasms will soon become available for the residents of Dagestan.

The list of organizations in the republic that will perform highly accurate diagnostic methods has been determined. The diagnosis for patients suspected of having a disease will be completely free and paid for by means of compulsory medical insurance fund. Previously, the residents of Dagestan had to travel outside the republic to dynamically monitor the effectiveness of leukemia chemotherapy. Now the whole list of analyzes will be performed in the region.
